The ASEAN Connectivity Coordinating Committee (ACCC) convened its first meeting under the chairmanship of Lao PDR today at the ASEAN Secretariat, Jakarta, with the participation of all ASEAN Member States, the ASEAN Secretariat, and Timor-Leste as Observer. The Meeting discussed progress, achievements and challenges in the implementation of the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity (MPAC) 2025, the development of the ASEAN Connectivity post-2025 agenda, as well as the connectivity priorities and deliverables for 2024 under Lao PDR’s chairmanship theme of “ASEAN: Enhancing Connectivity and Resilience”.
The ACCC coordinates, monitors and guides the implementation of the MPAC 2025 in collaboration with Sectoral Bodies from the ASEAN Community Pillars.
